Malawi Research Practicum on Rights & Development

In collaboration with the Department of Political Science, the Center sponsors the applied research practicum for undergraduate students to train them as future human rights advocates and development professionals.

Working closely with Determined to Develop, a Karonga-based NGO founded and directed by the University of Dayton alumnus Matt Maroon ’06, the practicum students spend eight weeks living and conducting research with local community and NGO leaders in the northern region of Malawi.
