Jake Heggie Residency

    A Dead Man Walking Series Event

    As a part of the "Rites.Rights.Writes." Dead Man Walking series, prominent American composer Jake Heggie will be on the University of Dayton campus from January 28 to January 30. He will engage in master classes, conversations with students and faculty and a concert of his works for voice, performed by members of the UD Voice faculty and the Dayton Opera. During his residency, he will discuss his opera, Dead Man Walking as well as discuss the creative process with students from humanities classes. He will also work with UD vocal music students in a master class setting.
