Jessica L. Saunders, MPA

JessicaJessica Saunders is the Director of the Center for Child Health and Wellness at Dayton Children’s Hospital and coordinator of Safe Kids Greater Dayton, a coalition dedicated to preventing childhood injury. She has worked at Dayton Children’s since 2007. She is responsible for Dayton Children’s community outreach programming including health promotion, particularly around childhood obesity, and injury prevention. Previously she was the Community Relations Manager at Dayton Children’s Hospital for eight years where she developed and directed a number of programs including the Kohl’s A Minute for Kids program and the Mead Westvaco Family Resource Center.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Masters in Public Administration, both from the University of Dayton.She is a certified child passenger safety technician instructor who trains many child passenger safety technicians in the Dayton region. She is also project manager for the Dayton Children’s Regional Pediatric Health Assessment conducted every three years. Jessica Saunders was named by Dayton Business Journal in 2012 as one of their Forty Under 40 top young professionals in the Dayton region. She serves as adjunct faculty at both Wright State University and University of Dayton.
