Center for Catholic Education at UD

Meet the CCE Staff Series Introduction

By Victoria Schoen

We are excited to begin our next series of the year - the Meet the Center for Catholic Education (CCE) Staff Series. Through this series of posts, you will be able to read about what each staff member contributes to the CCE as well as some of what their personal lives consist of. They have been asked to share about their families, their interests, their role models, their views on Catholic education, and much more. Keep checking our blog to read about the amazing people that we call family at the CCE which includes the professional staff as well as the undergraduate students of UD that are on the blog team.

The purpose of this series is to allow the readers of our blog to get to know the people of the CCE in a more personal way. These people are the reason that this blog is in existence; because of the skills and perspectives that each of them bring to the Center. Our staff members work on different projects and programs that all help to uphold the mission of the CCE at the University of Dayton. They all contribute to our mission of promoting, enhancing, energizing, and supporting Catholic schools.

Personally, I was the intern for the Center for Catholic Education this past summer and I had a wonderful experience there! The staff of the CCE truly became like family to me after only 2 months of working with them. Because their work together is built on Catholic values, they are better able to express a spirit of openness and support in their office. These are all people that exemplify the the Catholic, Marianist charism of the University of Dayton.

Please keep our staff in your prayers throughout the year as we continue working to promote Catholic schools and the faith-filled education of all children.
