ETHOS 2016 Final Update: Patna, India

By Devon Florczak

The University of Dayton 2016 fall semester will be underway soon, and Katie Willard (CME) and Claudia Labrador Rached (CME) just finished their work across the world in Patna, India.

Their latest update came a month ago and discussed the relationships that they developed within the Jesuit community in Patna while working on a Solar Thermal Adsorptive Refrigerator. Their refrigeration research project does not rely on electricity, which enables the community to have refrigeration even during their numerous power outages.
