The Marian Library included in visual arts journal

By Ann Zlotnik

The organization Christians in the Visual Arts' (CIVA) most recent issue of their journal, SEEN, "goes behind the scenes of several renowned—and some lesser known—private and institutional art collections to discover how they evolved and what motivates the collectors." Father Johann Roten, S.M. and the Marian Library's art collection—most specifically the crèche collection—made the list of eight institutional collections in the article titled "Bringing Out Treasures Old and New" by John. A Kohan.

In a letter to Roten, Dawn Anderson, the managing editor for SEEN Journal, states that the article "shines a lovely spotlight on all your hard work and the amazing gallery that you oversee."
