Award of Excellence to the Outstanding Cooperative Education Student in Engineering Technology

This year’s recipient of the Outstanding Cooperative Education Student in Engineering Technology award is Michael Harper.  Mike, an Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology graduating senior, worked with iHeartMedia, Inc. as a co-op for five work terms.  Mike’s passion for radio, lead him to create a co-op opportunity with a company that UD had never worked with before.  After five rotations he was certain his future was in broadcast engineering.

It's hard to believe that the community is that old, considering the youthful energy and growth in ministries they are experiencing.

For the past 28 years, the Rothkopf rankings have tracked academic contributions to the operations research practice literature.  Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and Yale regularly show up on these rankings.  In 2016, UD's Department of MIS, OM, and Decision Sciences makes a jump in the rankings and you won't believe who they jumped ahead.
