UD is ‘Open for Collaboration’

October 19-25 is Open Access Week, an international event to promote the exposure and use of scholarly research for the advancement of academia, science, industry, and society as a whole. Graduate Academic Affairs and the University Libraries are teaming up to promote the OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Center, the open access central submission and repository database for theses and dissertations produced by student authors from 30 universities and colleges in the state of Ohio. Submissions to the ETD Center recently surpassed 55,000. UD students have submitted 690 theses and dissertations to the Center since 2008. Staff and faculty from Graduate Academic Affairs and the University Libraries will be providing treats and more information about the ETD Center to graduate students in Kettering Labs on Monday, October 19, River Campus on Tuesday, October 20, and Fitz Hall on Thursday, October 22. All events will begin at 4 pm.
