A Lovely Weekend and a Life Lesson

This upcoming week is test week, so I made sure I had some relaxation time this weekend. Friday night I watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Even though we're in college, we just can't seem to grow up entirely. Saturday I woke up with full intentions of getting a lot of work done, but that didn't go as planned. I went to rec. and cleaned my room, but no homework was done. We ended up watching Lifetime instead. The only exciting thing about last night was a guy from upstairs doing card tricks in the hallway, it was quite impressive. Even though I chose to watch movies this weekend, that doesn't mean there aren't things to do on the weekend. There are always things to do at UD on the weekend. There are people that like to go out on the weekends but there are always people that like to stay in and relax, too.

Today was crunch day. I started homework at 9:00 this morning and had not stopped until 7:00 tonight. Unfortunately the timing of tests always falls at the same time. This week is my test week, and it is really stressful at the time, but it's also nice to get it all done in the same week because then you're done for awhile. Teachers always stick to their test dates, so you can always plan ahead. I've learned to manage my time better.

A life lesson I learned today: always buy a quality umbrella. I was walking to the science center today and my umbrella fell apart completely. Here I am walking around with an umbrella with the metal rods poking out, really cute. The wind always catches it just right and then it's broke. I have broken two umbrellas this year.
