Hello, everyone! Today is my birthday! I am actually not sure how I feel about turning 20, but it is happening whether I like it not, so ready or not here it comes! I didn't do much for my birthday, but I did have a great day!
First off, I found out that my friends and I got the house we wanted for next year! I am soooo excited! We are going to be living high on the hog because we have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a washer and dryer, air conditioning, and a garage! We are very, very excited!
Second, my ecology professor is seriously the best. He changed a lot of answers to our test if we could make a good argument proving that our answer was substantial, so I ended up getting an A on my exam!
Third, my boyfriend came to visit! We aren't very exciting so we had dinner here at VWK, and then we went to a concert on campus. The concert was performed by Richter Uzur Duo. They are classically trained musicians, but they played their instruments very nontraditionally. Viktor Uzur played the cello and Brad Richter played the guitar. I was sitting right in the front, and I was absolutely intrigued watching their fingers. I realized I had stared with my mouth open for about 3/4 of the concert. They played several classical pieces as well as some renditions of popular songs such as: Bohemian Rhapsody, Kashmir (Led Zeppelin), and several James Bond songs. I was amazed at their ability to play so many parts on just two instruments! If you would like to look them up go to www.RichterUzurDuo.com . They were at UD as part of the Art Series that I had mentioned earlier.
After the concert, my roommate and future housemate had gone out and got me a present, which was sweet!
Overall, a fantastic day! Have great weekend!
