Concert Band and Sledding

Today I had no classes, and it was wonderful! I am supposed to have my education lab today, but that doesnÆt start until next week. I did have band, though. I played in marching and concert band in high school, but joining band in college was really intimidating. I decided to take a leap of faith and try it out, and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little more challenging than high school but I am definitely looking forward to it. The band is not huge and there are a variety of majors, so not everybody is a music major. I play the euphonium and was able to get an instrument through the school for free, which is nice, too.

The best part about today was the SNOW! I woke up to tons of snow and guess what that meansùsledding! There are so many perks to living in Stuart! Another perk to living in Stuart is StuÆs Landing. The little grocery store in our lobby comes in handy. I was greeted this morning with snow and a lovely cold. I was in need of cough drops and tissues, so StuÆs served me well. It may not appear to be much, but in weather like this StuÆs is the best. Well my religion homework is calling my name. Stay warm!
