Granny Shenanigans and Banking07.20.2011Hello, again! I hope you are doing well. Hopefully you aren't melting in the heat like poor Dayton is. I heard the heat index down there was 108 yesterday! Anyways, I have been thoroughly enjoying my time with my boyfriend's great grandma this week! She is 91 years old and is visiting from Florida. I have never really had a chance to spend a lot of time with her, but this past week we have been practically best friends! She loves telling me all of her stories, which she actually wrote out in a book called, Granny Shenanigans. She just cracks me up. Yesterday she took us out to Bob Evans, and tonight we have a hot date to play Yahtzee!
Despite spending time with the great grandma, I have been up to the same 'ol, same 'ol. Today I had the day off, so I went to the bank and got a savings account and a credit card! I feel like an uptown girl! Just in case you wondered about banking while at school. UD has a DayAir Credit Union right next to the book store, and there is also a 5/3 bank on Brown Street, which is right outside campus. I actually have an account at both, and I like them both equally. I set most of my stuff up with 5/3 and have been quite satisfied. I just got a credit card because it is so much easier to have while at school. I plan to use it mostly for textbooks because I buy mine mostly online.
Welp, I better get to my Yahtzee game! Have a great night!
