Thankful to be Alive

I have been going a little bit crazy with the blogs lately, but there are just so many things that I want to share with you! I had to write a quick blog because I am sitting on a second-story patio on Kennedy Union looking out admiring campus, and it is just too beautiful! I am actually working on data entry for my research project, so I am working and enjoying life at the same time!

Anyways, I am sitting here listening to the fountain down below the patio, feeling the perfect breeze blow through, and watching people walking and running about campus. It is moments like these when I can feel God most and just can't help but say thanks. This summer has been quite possibly the best summer of my life, and I am just soooo grateful. I have not made as much money as my old job working full time, but I have grown as a person immensely. I have taken the time to enjoy campus to its fullest and take a slower pace in life. I would love to make more money, but I am happier just enjoying life this summer.

I am also sitting here reflecting on all of the changes that have been done of campus since I started here in the fall of 2009, and boy have things changed! In a way, the changes on campus reflect the changes in myself since I began here not long ago. I have grown so much and learned so much and I have this beautiful place to thank for that!

Anyways, if you have not been to UD in the summer, you should definitely come take a stroll because there is an overwhelming sense of calm and peace this time of year. Enjoy this beautiful day!
