Semester Abroad

Hello Flyers!

I hope you all had a great summer!

In less than a week, I will be officially moving into my apartment in Seoul, South Korea where I will be living with 3 other girls who are also exchange students for the semester.

The country is not new to me, it's where I called home until the age of 5 when I started to call the States my home. I chose this country as my way to come back to my homeland and roots to experience a life that I might have known had my family stayed in Korea. As exciting as this is, I feel just as anxious as this would be my first time being so far away from my family for such an extended period of time.

I am incredibly thankful for this incredible opportunity. And I'm glad that UD has such an extensive study abroad program and in part, having a connection with Korea University, allowing me to study abroad in another country for an entire semester. I'm not sure what experiences will come my way or what kind of people I'll be exposed to and meet - but I hope to make this semester one of the best ones yet.
