Recently, University of Dayton received an anonymous donation of $10 million, which will be used to support student scholarships in the School of Education and Allied Professions, School of Business Administration and School of Engineering.

From what I heard, that donation is the largest gift in UD's history. I would love to have some of that money to pay off my four years here at UD. But it may not be possible, since I am majoring in premedicine, which is part of UD's College of Arts and Sciences. There is another option where I can get money to pay off my college: find other scholarships.

Searching for scholarships is a challenge for me. Only thing that I don't like applying for scholarships is that I have to be competitive to prove that I am a worthy candidate to receive the scholarship. But I have to. I do not like the idea that we all live in a world where money is important for us to thrive academically and to survive financially.
