Easily One of the Hardest Tests....

Being so close to fall break, its hard to focus on what I'm here to do....to get an education. Last night, I stayed at the library until 3 am with a classmate studying for my Nutritional Biochemistry test. Just looking at the powerpoint presentations that were given to us in class were confusing. When I decided to try to use the book for better understanding, I felt as if I was trying to read a foreign language. All the cycles of the body, the chemical processes, what nutrients distribute to which organs...I felt like the lifeless book and its powerpoint presentations were literally sucking the life out of me. So, by 3 am I had finished two rockstars.

I woke up early this morning so I could head back to the library before my test to get in some extra study time with my friends Rachel and Kaitlyn. They were in the same boat, they had no idea what we were studying. It seemed pointless at this point to even try anymore. My third rockstar energy drink is gone. I'm feeling pretty wired at this point, but it was time to head to my clinical assessment class. During that class, I managed to drink one more rockstar energy drink so I could help keep myself awake and alert so I could think correctly. Yes, you don't have to tell me, this is very unhealthy. Being an exercise science major, this was not the way to go, but desperate times call for desperate measures. To add it up, I had 4 rockstar energy drinks in 15 hours.

So, it finally came time to take the test. All this preparation came to this. After this test was over, I was pretty much ready for fall break minus the one other class have at 3. The test is now over and you ask " how did you do?" I'll put this into perspective. I looked at the first 10 multiple choice questions of the test and laughed. Why a laugh? Because I had no idea what my professor was talking about or looking for. Some may let this discourage them, but as I looked around the classroom, everybody had that same blank stare that I had. At this point, I was just trying to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge and get out of there. Kelly, Kaitlyn, and myself finished about the same time. We walked out, looked at each other, laughed and stated "at least its over with now...".

So, as the title states, this was easily top 3 hardest tests I have ever taken in my life. I really don't think I want to get the test back, but it is all good right now. I have gone to my last class of the day, and my one class tomorrow got canceled so my fall break has officially started. I definitely need it.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Keep pushing through, there actually is light at the end of the tunnel.
