Overall... a pretty good weekend.

Like all of the previous weekends, this one has gone by way too fast as usual. I guess thats what happens when you are constantly busy and having fun at the same time. For Dayton Flyer sports, we did pretty well. As I had already mentioned, the women's soccer team won the first game in the first round of the NCAA tournament, the women's basketball team beat #10 Michigan State, the men's basketball team won their season opener, and the football team won their game, putting them in a three-way tie for the lead in the pioneer league with one regular season game to go.

Today, I was able to go to church. I haven't been able to go in a long time due to cheerleading and competitions I had to be at for work. So while at church, I soaked up every moment I could, enjoying what the preacher had to say, and feeling like a big chip off my shoulder was gone. Personally, I am somewhat of a spiritual guy, and whenever I miss church, I feel like my week doesn't start out as good. So I am excited to have a fresh start to this coming week.

After church, my friends Anthony, Kelly, and I went to the women's basketball game hoping to see another upset victory over Louisville. It came down the wire. We were up by two with just under a minute left when Louisville made a three putting them up by one. Unfortunately we lost the game by 2 points, but it was a great game with lots of energy from not only the players, but the crowd as well. As if the day couldn't get any busier, we had tumbling practice for cheerleaders. Though at the time I say I don't feel like going, I end up having a good time working on current skills and learning new skills.

After a busy, yet good day, it has come time to do homework and do I have a lot. I have 5 presentations, a test, and 5 one-page papers due before Thanksgiving break...so I have plenty to keep me busy this week.

Hope everybody had a great weekend.

Be safe and make good choices !
