Now introducing Wireless Gaming and Internet TV Device Registration

The University of Dayton supports online gaming and Internet TV devices on both the residential wired and wireless networks in the residence halls and neighborhoods. You need to register your device's MAC address for it to work on the UD network.

NOTE: When establishing a wireless connection, be sure to connect to UDconnect. Do NOT connect to EduRoam for wireless gaming.
To register your device:

  • Log into device registration site (http://udayton.co/DIY)
  • Make sure your device (i.e. game console) is connected to the wired or "UDconnect" network
  • Enter the MAC address of your device into the registration site
  • Select the device type from the drop-down window
  • Click the register device button

When successful, your device will display at the bottom of the device registration page. Please allow 30 minutes for the system to update after registering your device. After 30 minutes, power off your console and power it back on. Your device should have access to the Internet.
