Isidore Upgrade - Coming August 10th

Just in time for back-to-school, Isidore will be upgraded on August 10th. The image on the right is a snapshot of the improved appearance in Isidore you can expect after the upgrade is complete. This upgrade will be available to the campus following a short downtime on August 10th from 6:00 am until 12:00 pm.

In addition to a whole host of new tools and features, the most obvious change is the clean, brand-compliant interface that is designed to work responsively on mobile devices. In the new version of Isidore, you have the ability to personalize your experience by easily favoriting and organizing your class sites. You can now also change your profile picture to display throughout your class sites.

Instructors can design creative, collapsible layouts integrated with poll or short answer questions in the improved Lessons too. A new question type in the Tests and Quizzes tool, called Hot Spot, can challenge students to identify parts of an image. Students can sign up for group presentation times with the new Sign Up tool. Everyone has access to targeted library, technology, and site content help with the Support tool added to every site.

The Adobe Connect web conferencing tool can be used to host class meetings virtually. Students can meet online on their own to work on their group projects. Features include an interactive whiteboard, application and screen sharing, session recording, polls, and a student engagement meter.
