Android Safe Mode

These days computer viruses are a common threat. Luckily, there a number of ways to deal with them. But what if you get a virus on your Phone or tablet? There is always the option of a factory reset, but this will lose all of your data. However, there is another way to remove viruses if you have an android phone, Safe Mode. Booting into safe mode on your android device will allow the device to run without third party apps, meaning the virus will not (in most cases) be able to run. To boot into safe mode long press the power button until the power options menu appears. Then long press the Power off option. This will ask you to boot into safe mode. Once in safe mode only the built in apps will run. If your device is functioning normally, then this means the issue is coming from a third party app. Open your settings menu and uninstall any suspicious apps or recently installed apps. Once you have made deletions simply, restart your phone normally to return to the normal boot mode. Thank you for reading! Be sure to check back for our next article.
