Computer Safety 101 Lesson 1: Cover Your Bases
Insurance: This will cover everything that your warranty does not. That spilling it, dropping it, or theft.
Locks: This keeps honest people honest. You can use this when at the library if you need to step away for a minute or in your dorm if sometimes your roommate tends to leave the door unlocked.
Passwords: Never underestimate the importance of strong passwords. If your computer is stolen it will protect your confidential files or just keep that nosy roommate or sibling out of your business.
