Media Monday: Xbox One Backward Compatibility
Missing the games you played on Xbox 360? Microsoft just announced at its annual E3 Conference that the Xbox One will be backwards compatible for around 100 of Xbox 360 generation titles. Many of these games will be available later this year free of charge for previously purchased games. Xbox One preview members can play a selection of these titles today, including Banjo-Kazooie, Mass Effect, and Perfect Dark. See the full list of preview games currently available here.
Other big news from the conference is the new Xbox One controller called Elite, a preview of Halo 5 and Forza Motorsport 6, and an early access program for beta testing games.
