UDit Summer of Service: A Helping Hand for Habitat

UD's Habitat for Humanity student group works on housing projects around the greater Dayton area.  Even those who give back can use a helping hand.  Recent UD graduate and Habitat for Humanity volunteer, Emily Falvey, saw an opportunity for UDit's Summer of Service Program to increase productivity at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  The ReStore sells building material and home improvement projects at a discounted price.

UDit student workers rebuilt and donated several computer systems that will be used to increase inventory, accuracy, and consistency at the ReStore.  In addition, UDit refurbished two Habitat for Humanity notebook computers allowing for flexibility on-site during Habitat Days. To learn more about UD's Habitat for Humanity visit https://www.udayton.edu/students/habitat/.
