Wild Wednesday: Batman and Comic-Con

Comic ConWith DC Comics declaring July 23rd “Batman Day” and the kickoff of the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con, this is an exciting week to be a comic book fan. It was 75 years ago that Batman made his debut in Bob Kane’s and Bill Finger’s “The Case of the Chemical Syndicate” – a special edition of which has been released free to fans in comic and book stores around the country. This edition is also available for free download on DC’s website. Marvel is joining in on the comic fun by offering a month of access to its collection of 13,000 comics for only 99 cents. This 99 cent option should be appearing on the Marvel website shortly, and will be available for a week. Stay tuned to Comic-Con’s website for exciting gaming, TV, and movie announcements over the coming weekend!
