Securities Analysis

The Securities Analysis Team works to familiarize team members with a variety of strategies for financial analysis, including qualitative research and financial modeling. Team members serve as supporting analysts for the Flyer Investments Fund by analyzing current holdings’ performance based on historic trends and comparison with industry peers. Additionally, the supporting analysts are responsible for introducing new investment ideas through the maintenance of a comprehensive watch list.

Russell Woehrmyer

During the summer of 2017, Russell interned at a middle market investment bank in Chicago. For this upcoming summer, he will be interning at Goldman Sachs within their Investment Banking Division, where he will be providing M&A and capital raising services for financial institutions

Hannah worked in the Global Supply Chain Logistics department at the Cincinnati office of Cintas last summer. She is currently co-oping with GE Aviation to further her knowledge of the supply chain industry. Hannah is hoping to soon finalize plans for a 2018 internship with an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency where her responsibilities would include leading a team of summer staff members and coordinating nine weeks of mission trips.

He also attended the Future Leaders in Finance program at Stout where he learned from investment banking and business valuation experts. His post-graduate plans are to work for an asset management firm in New York City or Chicago, and to earn the distinction of becoming a CFA charterholder.

Following her internship, Emily worked for Camp Christopher, a youth summer camp in northeastern Ohio. She is looking forward to studying abroad in Spain between her sophomore and junior years.
