Professor Adam Hooks (English, University of Iowa) will discuss the history of earliest collected editions of Shakespeare’s works, including the Second Folio (1632), part of the Rose Rare Book Collection. The lecture will be of interest to students and faculty with an interest in literature, history, rare books, and the history of Shakespeare's literary career. Sponsored by the Department of English.
