Muslim Student Association's Annual Quran Competition

Time: 2 p.m. — 4 p.m.

Location: Rike Center Room 205 and 207

This is that time of the year when Muslim Students Association (MSA) holds its annual Quran Competition event. There will be individual competition for men (Room 205) and women (Room 207). Each contestant will have to recite one of the below mentioned Surahs (full or an assigned part of it). Contestants will be judged, by the distinguished panel of judges, on the basis of memorization, tajweed and qirat of the given Surahs. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners (both men and women). If you are willing to compete in this noble learning event, please send your name and intended Surah to, alternatively, signup through orgsync with your intended Surah as an RSVP message. If you are not competing, you are still welcome to attend the event and encourage your peers. Please follow this document for further details of the event.
