Written and Directed by Joyce A. Barnes and with a Guest Performance by local non-profit Hope Road Youth and Community Theatre, this production will illustrate two extraordinary events during the Civil Rights Movement in 1963: The Children’s Campaign in May & June and the bombing in September at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church that killed four young girls. The audience is invited to go back in history to Birmingham and join the Movement.
