Magistrate Barbara DoseckThe St. Thomas More Society is hosting a lunch event on Wednesday June 17th between 12:30 and 1:20pm in room 101, the Andes conference room. Food will be provided from Cousin Vinny's Pizza. Our guest will be the Honorable Magistrate Doseck whose talk will be on 'Following your call in the law: Faith and your career path.'  Please RSVP to Mina Tadrus (TadrusM1@udayton.edu) or Esther New (Newe01@udayont.edu) by Tuesday June 16th. Although RSVP'ing is not mandatory to attend, it will help us accommodate seating and food, and minimize waste. Thank you. The Honorable Magistrate Barbara Doseck has served Dayton Municipal Court since 2011.  Magistrate Doseck received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Bluffton University in 2002. She attended University of Dayton School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2005. She worked as an associate attorney in the law office of Green and Green Lawyers upon graduation from law school. She joined The Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender in 2006 as an Assistant Public Defender. Magistrate Doseck stays actively involved in a number of community organizations. Currently, she serves as a trustee on the board of directors for the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project and as the 2nd District Representative for the Ohio Association of Magistrates. She also serves as the Vice Chair for the Dayton Bar Association Diversity Committee, is a member of Thurgood Marshall Law Society, and is appointed to the Ohio Judicial Conference Criminal Law and Procedure Committee.
