University of Dayton School of Law Human Rights Awareness and Advocacy group, in conjunction with the University of Dayton Solidarity Club, are hosting a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event to benefit both the Artemis Center of Montgomery County and Be Free Dayton. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is an event to raise awareness and stop rape, sexual assault & gender violence. Your participation and/or donation is greatly appreciated! Register online here!  Schedule of Events 9:00 a.m. Check-In tables Open 9:30 a.m. Walk "Rally" begins, introduction of beneficiary representatives and the work the organizations do, how the walkers are directly contributing to the Walk a Mile purpose by participating. 10:00 a.m. Walk begins 10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Lunch is served 12:00 p.m. Walk is adjourned. Please join us immediately following the Walk at the School of Law, Joseph E. Keller Hall, for a special panel discussion. Panel Discussion: Courtroom in the School of Law Panel Discussion with representatives from the beneficiary organizations, Judge Singer and a representative from Abolition Ohio, to discuss the legal concerns of representing women who have been victimized, prosecuting their abusers, and working on specialized dockets with prostituted women after they have been convicted. This portion of the event is open to students and the legal community.  Registration Information Adults $20/ Individual or $100/ Team of 6 Student (undergraduate and graduate) $10/ Individual or $50/ Team of 6 Family (2 Adults and up to 4 Students) $60 Children (aged 17 and under) Free Register online here! Fee includes T-shirt for each registrant.
