Held in conjunction with Dr. Samuel N Dorf's class--Music and Gender--this open session will feature presentations by noted scholar Dr. Craig Monson (one of his more recent books is Nuns Behaving Badly: Tales of Music, Magic, Arts and Arson in the Convents of Italy) and Annalisa Pappano, early music specialist (she plays the lirone as well as viol da gamba) and founder of Cincinnati's Catacoustic Consort.
