In the words of curator Joel Whitaker, the photographs in this exhibit “explore the intersections of material, time, and process and offer varied and interesting ways of visualizing these intersections.” Russell’s works depict water “as a delineator of space and the passage and suspension of time.” Knipscher’s photographs “record the indexical act of the path of light, reflecting and refracting, revealing the imperfections of my handiwork.” Curated by Joel Whitaker.
