Recital presented in conjunction with the dedication of the newly restored 1974 Herz two-manual harpsichord. Mylène Bélanger began learning harpsichord in Rimouski, Quebec, and obtained le Prix avec grande distinction à l'unanimité at the Conservatoire de Musique de Rimouski (2001) and a doctoral degree in performance from the Université de Montréal (2012). She has been heard on Radio-Canada's “Jeunes Artistes” and has performed in Quebec with Les Violons du Roy. She studied in Europe at the ESMUC (Barcelona) in 2006-07 and at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, the latter with Frédérick Haas in 2011.
