Latin Trivia Night

Tuesday, September 27

Time: 6 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.

Location: Office of Multicultural Affairs (Alumni 101)

Do you know that September 15-October 15 was chosen as Hispanic Heritage Month because September 15 marks the anniversary of the independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico, Chile and Belize also celebrate their independence days during this period and Columbus Day (Día de la Raza) is October 12. If you knew the answer and/or would like to learn more interesting facts, join us for Latin Trivia Night. This event will include questions highlighting both historical and current events, and will also test your critical thinking as some of the trivia will be based on visual cues. Prizes and light refreshments will be provided.

Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Multicultural Programming Council (MPC)
