Dr. Ian Fenty, who received his Ph.D. in Climate Physics and Chemistry from MIT, will discuss the challenge of global sea level rise. He will also review some of the techniques utilized today to measure changes in the world’s oceans and current efforts to create better prediction models. Dr. Fenty's lecture will be followed by a reception, and a sustainability-themed concert at 8 PM in the same space. Co-sponsored by the Hanley Sustainability Institute.
