The School of Law once again has partnered with the Dayton Bar Association to celebrate the First Monday in October, which marks the beginning of the United States Supreme Court's term. The purpose of the celebration is to increase awareness among students, attorneys and the public about the Supreme Court's significance.

Please join us on Monday, Oct. 3, in the Mathias Heck Courtroom in Keller Hall for our 4th annual celebration of the First Monday in October. Lunch will begin at 11:15 a.m. with the program being from Noon-12:50 p.m. Charlie Faruki of Faruki Ireland & Cox P.L.L. will serve as this year's keynote speaker and will present "Justice Kennedy's Affirmative Action to Save Affirmative Action: The Latest Use of Race As a Factor in University Admissions." This event is generously sponsored through the Eichelberger Foundation.
