Watch law school admissions demystify how applications are reviewed: 3:30 p.m., Kennedy Union room 211: Mock Law School Admissions Panel. Using real past applications, experienced admissions personnel from four different law schools will explain how they review applications - what they want to see, what they don’t want to see - and share philosophies for building entering classes. Learn why the issue of "fit" may be more important than rank to your future success: 5 p.m., Kennedy Union room 211: Financing Your Legal Education: The Issue of Finance and “Fit” with Joni Scott, Student and School Services Representative. Financing your legal education involves more than scholarships and loans. The right fit is as important – if not more – than law school rankings and tuition. Hear a talk on the very real impact lawyers have in our society today: Location: Science Center Room 114 Time: 7 p.m. In his keynote address, entitled "Who Does the Law Serve? Human Rights and the Law in the Case of Migrants, Refugees and Other Displaced Persons,” Camilo Pérez-Bustillo, J.D., executive director of the University of Dayton Human Rights Center discusses how lawyers serve as advocates for human rights.
