The Armed Services Blood Program at Wright-Patterson is in urgent need of O+ and O- blood today and the rest of this week.
The Armed Forces do not use blood units from outside organizations, such as American Red Cross, so donating through the Armed Services Blood Program is a direct line to help save wounded and recovering service members of all branches. The blood collected at Wright Patterson is sent downrange to aid service members overseas as well as to military treatment facilities in the U.S. such as Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Maryland.
Military, civilians and family members with O+ and O- blood types are encouraged to donate at University of Dayton ROTC.
University of Dayton ROTC can accommodate donations Tuesday, 21 Mar 2017 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at O'Reilly Hall.
For eligibility or general or general questions, please contact the Blood Donor Center at 937-257-0580.
Many thanks to our donors!
