Exhibit: Fatima: 100 Years
All Day
Location: Roesch Library second floor

On May 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in the village of Fatima in Portugal and continued to appear to them once a month until October 13. The central message of these apparitions was the urgent need for prayer, especially the daily rosary; for acts of penance in reparation for sin; and for devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, the Marian Library presents this exhibit, representing a small sampling of its materials on Fatima, including books, periodicals, pamphlets, photographs, films, rosaries, medals, statues, and other devotional items
