Join the School of Law alumni on June 9-11 for Alumni Weekend 2017!  Friday, June 9 The weekend starts with the Alumni Awards Luncheon on Friday, June 9, from Noon-1:30 p.m., at the Sinclair Community College Charity Earley Room at 444 W. Third St., Dayton. The Honorable Walter H. Rice Honorary Alumni Award, the Dean Francis J. Conte Special Service Award and the Richard Perna Young Alumni Award of Excellence will be presented. Cost is $25. An alumni mixer & fundraiser will be held from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Dayton Beer Company at 41 Madison St., Dayton, benefiting the Hon. Carl D. Kessler Scholarship and the Lee C. Falke Scholarship. Light snacks will be provided and drinks are pay-as-you-go. Saturday, June 10 The General Service Project for Alumni Weekend 2017 will once again be held at Erma’s House, a comfortable, homelike atmosphere that provides a safe, structured, neutral alternative to unsupervised visits, located on 1046 Brown Street, Dayton, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Volunteers will meet at Keller Hall before moving to the facility and performing various tasks. Please wear work clothes as some projects are cleaning-intensive. Free. All Reunion Weekend attendees are invited to participate. "Law as a Vocation," a free 1-hour CLE (1-hour of professional conduct instruction; pending approval) presented by Associate Dean Lori Shaw, will be held at Keller Hall at 9:00 a.m. A free School of Law Tour will be held immediately after the volunteer service project concludes. This tour will begin in the Atrium of Joseph E. Keller Hall and take alumni throughout the School and across campus. After the tour, guests are invited to attend the undergraduate event, Brews, Bites and Bands. This event, held in C Lot under the tent,  includes "a great afternoon of food trucks, craft beers and friends! Sponsored by UD's young alumni group, day10, everyone is invited to have lunch with some of Dayton's finest food trucks, local craft beer as well as sit back and relax listening to live music from a Reunion Weekend favorite, This Side Up. There is a $5 registration fee that includes a bottle of water. All other food and drink is pay-as-you-go. The event will happen rain or shine." Dayton Law Class Receptions will be held at the Dayton Country Club located at 555 Kramer Rd., Oakwood, Ohio, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is free with dinner, or $15 to attend the reception only. Private receptions will be held for the School of Law Classes of 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007 and 2012. There is also a general reception for all other classes.  The Dayton Law Alumni Dinner will also be held at the Dayton Country Club at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $75 which includes dinner and drinks, class receptions and entrance into the undergraduate Porch Party held on campus after dinner. A cash bar will open at 8:30 p.m. The Distinguished Alumni Award and the Steven E.
