Dean of Students Series: Carefrontation – How to Confront Someone Without Making Accusations
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Kennedy Union Room 211

Often it is hard to approach a subject with a student if you feel unsure or if you are concerned that if you are wrong they may be offended. However, if you are right and they are in need of assistance or your advice might help them have a stronger campus experience, it is worth it. This program is used to assist RA's with broaching difficult topics and is transferable to other types of relationships in your life.
Presented by Debra Monk, Associate Dean of Students and Director of Community Standards & Civility

The Dean of Students Office provides a variety of services to challenge, support, encourage, and prepare students to be successful now and after graduation. This series is designed to provide information to faculty and staff on how you can support the success of students as it relates to key functions out of the Dean of Students office, and presents an opportunity to learn more about how we can work together throughout the academic year.
