The Honorable Maggie Hassan, US Senator from the State of New Hampshire will be visiting the University of Dayton School of Law, providing remarks and entertaining questions from campus and community members, on Friday, October 27, 2017.  The gathering will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.,and will take place in the Mathias H. Heck Courtroom, located near the west entrance of the School of Law's Keller Hall.
Senator Hassan was first elected to the New Hampshire Senate in 2004, and soon selected by her peers to serve as the President Pro Tempore and Majority Leader.  In 2013, she was sworn in as governor.  Since elected to the US Senate, she has been working to combat the opioid crisis; expand access to job training and higher education; and help innovative businesses grow.  She is focused on strengthening national security, protecting Social Security, Medicare, and veterans services; as well as combating climate change and preserving our natural resources.
