The Radial Gallery and the department of art and design are pleased to present American Mythologies, curated by Jayne Matlack Whitaker, an exhibition of new works by visual artist Jonathan Clyde Frey.

From the artist:

"My recent work analyzes American identity, focusing on the differences between the iconic representations of the United States and the lived experience. Through my research, I seek to uncover the myths, clichés, and stereotypes that are part of a national American identity."

This exhibit runs from Jan. 18 through Feb. 15 during regular gallery hours. A reception takes place on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5 to 9 p.m.
