Dean of Students Series: Restorative Justice Practices in Student Conduct
12:30 PM - 01:30 PM
Location: Kennedy Union, Room 311

While exploring the intersections of our Marianist Charism and the tenants of restorative justice, Community Standards and Civility has been developing and implementing various restorative justice practices that allow students to take responsibility and restore harm to the community. This discussion will explore some of the current programs engaging in this work, plans moving forward with restorative justice programs, and seek the input of faculty interested in the implementation of restorative programs on campus.

Presented by Debra Monk, Associate Dean of Students and Director of Community Standards & Civility

The Dean of Students Office provides a variety of services to challenge, support, encourage, and prepare students to be successful now and after graduation. This series, typically held during the summer, is designed to provide information to faculty and staff on how you can support the success of students as it relates to key functions out of the Dean of Students Office, and presents an opportunity to learn more about how we can work together throughout the academic year.

This year, the Dean of Students Series is also being offered during the spring semester, in order to provide more access to staff and faculty throughout the campus community. Fill out this form to let us know which sessions you plan on attending.
