The Data Incubator

January 3, 2017 - February 24, 2017

Location: There will be both an in-person (New York City, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco) and online section of the fellowship using the common application.

The Data Incubator is an intensive 8-week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and support by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. Anyone who has already obtained a masters or PhD degree or who is within one year of graduating is welcome to apply. Applications from international students are welcome. Everyone is encouraged to sign-up for a future session

Bioscience Career and Internship Fairs

Various Dates in February

In support of Ohio's growing bioscience companies, BioOhio is pleased to host the Bioscience Career Fairs, featuring top employers in the biotech, pharmaceutical, R&D, and medical device industries. Companies and institutions from across Ohio will be recruiting at these events. The timing of these events accommodates companies searching for interns, co-ops or full-time positions. 

While registration is not required to attend, those who do register will have a printed nametag and the opportunity to submit a resume to be included in a booklet provided to exhibitors in advance. Instructions on how to submit your resume will be included in your registration confirmation.

Direct Action & Research Training (DART) Center Online Information Session

February 21, 2017 at 8:00 PM

DART will hold an online information session to discuss careers in community organizing with UD students and alumni interested in uniting congregations and working for social, economic and racial justice. DART hires and trains organizers to build organizations that have successfully addressed issues, such as, plugging to school-to-prison pipeline, expanding access to primary health and dental care, prioritizing funding for affordable housing and job training and education reform in low-performing public schools. 

Positions start August 14, 2017 in Richmond (VA), Louisville (KY), Topeka (KS), Daytona Beach (FL), Ft. Lauderdale (FL) and St. Petersburg (FL).

Athletico Physical Therapy Career Fair

February 25, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Location: Athletico Corporate Office (709 Enterprise Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523)

Athletico Physical Therapy's services include physical and occupational/hand therapy, worker's compensation, women's health therapy, concussion management and athletic training. This career fair is open to new and experienced therapists. Interviews held on the spot.

NFL in coordination with Washington Redskins PR Meet-and-Greet

February 28, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.

The Washington Redskins in coordination with the NFL will be hosting a PR Meet-and-Greet at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

College students enrolled in undergraduate or master's programs hoping to pursue careers in media and public relations with an NFL team will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from several NFL team communication departments. Students will be able to distribute their resumes and get valuable face-to-face interaction with potential employers from NFL teams across the country at this premier event.

Students are asked to bring 30-40 copies of their resume and dress in business attire. Attendees must RSVP by Feb. 20. There is no registration fee. Students must provide their own transportation and accommodations.

Wilberforce University is holding their Spring Career Fair in their Alumni Multiplex Gymnasium to help undergraduate and graduate students network with employers for potential employment.
