This job fair will focus strictly on the need for Substitute Teachers in the ten districts who substitute needs are supported by the Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments. On-site interviews will be conducted so candidates should bring a current copy of their resume, references, background checks, credentials and any other items that would contribute to the interview process.

Aquinas Center 2016 Essay Contest
Submission Deadline: December 15, 2016
In celebration of the canonization of St. Teresa of Calcutta, the Aquinas Center at Ave Maria University invites undergraduate college students to submit an original 1000-word essay about any of Mother Teresa's writings, talks, life or her Missionaries of Charity.
Topics may include: physical and spiritual poverty, adoration of the Eucharist, spiritual darkness, Jesus's thirst, service, contemplation and action, pro-life witness, joy, etc.
Prizes: First Place: $500 - Honorable Mention: $100
The Data Incubator
January 3, 2017 - February 24, 2017
Location: There will be both an in-person (New York City, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco) and online section of the fellowship using the common application.
The Data Incubator is an intensive 8-week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and support by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. Anyone who has already obtained a masters or PhD degree or who is within one year of graduating is welcome to apply. Applications from international students are welcome. Everyone is encouraged to sign-up for a future session.
Pensole Master Class
January 4 - 25, 2017
Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts
The Pensole Master Class in Footwear Design is a hands-on, 3-week intensive footwear, color and material design master class created to identify and introduce aspiring designers to the art of footwear design. The Pensole Master Class in Footwear Design starts out as a global search for the top 20 aspiring designers (15 Footwear and 5 Color and Material Design 'CMD') to attend the Master Class at New Balance's Design and Development Facility in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Top students will have the opportunity to be considered for a 1-year apprenticeship at the New Balance Design Foundry.
Submission deadline is November 27, 2016 and the Final Selection is December 9, 2016.
University of Northern Iowa Overseas Recruiting Fair
February 3 - 5, 2017
Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa
Over 120 American international K-12 schools representing more than 70 countries will be in attendance at the 41st annual event. The UNI Fair gives educators the opportunity to network, interview and get hired during the event. Over 900 jobs are typically posted at the event and candidates average five interviews each. Register by January 13, 2017.
