Profile

As office coordinator in the University Honors Program, Ramona manages Honors student records and all communication for the office. She coordinates the thesis process from the initial workshops through the publishing of each student's final manuscript, and ensures all Honors students are kept informed of Honors deadlines, events, news and opportunities through website, social media and printed materials. She is managing editor of the Honors news magazine, HonorsLINK, published semi-annually. She also supervises the student worker staff.

Ramona graduated from Sinclair Community College with an associate degree in fine arts, and from Wright State University with a bachelor of science degree in art education and a mathematics minor. Her work experience includes office management for law and accounting firms and the Arkansas Office of the Attorney General, teaching high school art and math, and working as a marketing manager for a publishing house. She has been with the University of Dayton since 2007.

This job at UD was made for me--it uses all the experience I've acquired over the years and allows me to interact with students in several rewarding capacities.
