Rachel Botting



Rachel is an award-winning graphic print and package designer with online experience. She enjoys linking design and brand concepts to business goals and objectives. She works through conceptualizing, communicating and implementing smart and effective design solutions across numerous channels. Rachel has experience as a print and design art director and a packaging manager. She has an extensive background working with small to mega international brands. She can bring to the classroom concepts and conventions that utilize independent and team-based working methods. 

Rachel’s background includes working with vendors, graphic designers, production managers, on-line systems, industrial artists, product developers and marketing departments. She utilizes these connections to create and execute branding, collateral materials, campaigns (print and electronic), packaging, and promotional materials. She has worked with both domestic and overseas packaging and print development and execution, affording her a deep knowledge of good, working design and marketing needs, cost saving techniques in development, production and delivering what the client wants in a timely manner.

Faculty Perspective

I will be teaching directly from Misty Thomas-Trout’s syllabus for the Design Process Class. Just some of the benefits that my work experience will bring to my students are:

  • Co-created the showing artist collaboration Miasma, a group of graphic designers showing their “Fine Art”
