Faculty Perspective

Given the opportunity and a few key tools, anyone may tap into the beauty that clay holds and share it with the world.  Hard work and dedication is all someone needs to begin to cultivate a relationship with clay and understand it’s abilities to be molded into a work of functional art. I believe as an artist it is my duty to teach others about the process of creating with the hands and perhaps instill in the public an appreciation for the handmade object.
