Profile

Lindsey Light is a full-time lecturer in English, teaching first- and second-year writing courses. Lindsey received her M.A. from the University of Dayton in 2010 and her B.A. from Wright State University in 2008. She began her teaching career as a teaching assistant at the University of Dayton. From there, she went on to adjunct for several institutions, including UD, Sinclair and Xavier. Lindsey has taught varying levels of composition, ranging from developmental courses to professional writing. In addition, she has taught public speaking and online courses.

"I am excited to be returning to the University of Dayton. I firmly believe that UD is committed to excellence in education, as I have witnessed it firsthand. My experience as an adjunct allowed me to work with diverse student populations, which helped shape and inform my teaching style. I look forward to adding to these experiences as I teach in the tight-knit UD community."
