Tess Keener graduated from the University of Dayton in 2015 with a Bachelor of General Studies degree, a certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership, and a minor in Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment.  As the first Hanley Sustainability Institute Undergraduate Fellow, she collaborated with Dayton-area nonprofits to implement sustainable development initiatives in local communities.

Her experience as a Fellow prepared her for her current position as the Project Coordinator for Lincoln Hill Gardens, a collaborative project to transform vacant land into a sustainable urban agriculture center and community greenspace.
